So what is uber?

Uber is an app containing 3 kinds of vehicles for you to booked. 

Uberx car - this is a private car service and no booking fee for now in the future I'm not sure will this add in. So is just like take a taxi but in a normal car. And that was what I used during my flea at lucky plaza! Can request to the driver that you want to alight at the car park level 6! 

Uber taxi - will be normal taxi with normal booking fee added if you used the app just like any other taxi app.

Uberexec- is the atas car which you can use to hao lian if you are going to certain important event but nevertheless the charges also atas! So for me I never used this before! 

Now how to use uber?

Firstly download the app on your phone and registered, update all information and also your credit or debit card information.

As uber charges directly to your card you dun have to make any payment to the driver. Afterwhich they will send you a email notification on how much you are charge, the distant and the map on the journey you have taken. 

Next go to the uber website and log in go to payment 

And edit the gratuity for taxi to 0% that is the tips to the driver on top of your journey cost. (Do this before any booking)

How to use uber? 

After you have click the app the following will appear and now is showing the uberx car nearest to you will reach in 4mins click on to the set pickup location 

After that u can check the fare estimated to be how much thuc click on fare estimate button and key in your destination it will give you an est cost. If you are ok with it click back and click on to request uberx as shown and soon there will be a driver near you to take up your booking and his car plate with his selfie will appear. Best part is you can also see where is the driver and the driver can also locate you via gps.

Flea at lucky plaza - using uber

I had a lot of unwanted clothes and always wish to clear them off but no one wants to join me. Until one day I share with Lynlin that I had read a blog post on lucky plaza flea. And then we come to a conclusion of joining force in doing it!!

1st I unpacked all my old clothes and tadaa~ I had 105pcs of clothes with 10pairs of shoes plus 3 bags.

As I was sharing with Lynlin thus the rental fee on a Sunday was $150/2. But if you have equally huge amount of things to clear like us then just do it as after deducting the rental I get back $150+, and Lynlin got back $200+ (she bought 100pcs clothes & 30 - 40pcs of big and small bags,wallets, clutches etc. 

What is the best seller?? Shoes and bags are running out fast!! And people is like snatching!! So just bring all your unwanted bags and shoes down! 

How to price your items? Shoes - $5, bags $8-10 depends on your conditions, clothes can start with $5 per piece and slowly go down when u think sales is not moving! 

Most of the customers are maids working in Singapore they are all friendly! The worst customers was one particular local ol! A new dress I was selling at $5 she still want to bargain with me!! It's with tag some more!! I didn't sell her and end up selling to a maid at $3 as I feel that she is more sincere!! Sorry to this ol looking lady u act too cheapo and I'm not willing to sell you at any discount!! Roll eyes!!

By the way is dusting there thus need a mask! And we didn't manage to take much photos coz we were busy thru out!! Only 1 photo I had taken is this:

So each will be given a table and 2 chairs. But the table was not very big.

Now I'm going to share also how I head over to the flea. As Lynlin sister drive her over so is easy for her, but I got no car and no one have car in my family thus I used uber! Y I didn't booked normal taxi? Is because taxi can't bring us to the car park on level 6 which the flea is on and it will be difficult if we have to move everything up with the crowd on a Sunday!! So uber is the best choice! Dyna hair treatment

My hair is in a mess before i 'kiap' / iron on my signature fringe! I cant go out with my hair not iron as bangs looks really disgusting if it is in a mess or when the door always open up (aka the fringe always open up) Hahah!! 

I had not done rebonding for 3 years as it is too flat and plus i had a small patch of grey hair on my fringe area thus after doing rebonding the color of the dye i did to cover the grey hair will fade off. And i always was told that after rebonding you have to wait for 3 days to a week before you could color your hair in case of some reaction and hair will be damage. I personally tried on a homebase salon recommended by flowerpod before and my hair become super damage after the rebonding and coloring thus i nv dare to do rebonding and coloring ever again!!! T.T i spent $500 on a hair treatment package to save back my hair that time!! So now i become extra careful!! I heard that dyna treatment is more of a treatment and was assure that is ok to color and do this treatment together thus i decided to give it a try.

Dyna treatment intro by my current salon is what i had just done. It took me 2.5 hours to complete the process.

It is actually quite similar to rebonding, apply cream wait, wash off apply a spray blow dry, iron, apply another cream the pink one shown below, and wash off and blow dry.

Was told i can wash my hair the next day after treatment and this will last for about 6 months. Hopefully it can last longer! 

Brother in law creating chaos again

Well if you guys read my blog you should have known that the brother in law of mine had threatened to kick my parents in laws out of the house before.

This time round he is creating chaos again. Actually long since before this we already told him clearly that after he sold the house which is under his and his mum name we will made arrange for the 2 folks to have a place to stay. But it might be some bad people around him (his friends? Those rich friends who likes racing car like him?) giving him the idea  of kicking parents out and so that he can have the whole house by himself and rent the rooms out. Abit crazy right! In singapore housing law the person with the name under the property have the rights to stay in the house and how could he have such thinking i really dun understand. And now, he know that the mum could not be kick out his try his luck to kick his dad out! Lets give him and his good friend a clap! The owner spouse also have the rights to stay there how could they have such thinking? And the biggest joke is he requested for the 2 brothers to pay him $300sgd per month each for his allowance!! Lmao! He tot that he is their parents? Or the friend think this is right? 

If he really want a clean cut with his parents the best solution is sold the flat so the mum cpf will return to her own account, is impossible that the mum move out and her cpf stuck with the house for his brother to own it all by himself right and earn money with it! And is already so clear that once the flat is sold the parents will be arrange to have another place. 

He is 40+ this year and im not sure why his thinking is this way. Really disappointed someone with education cannot have the positive thinking. Not sure is he suffering from any depression hopefully not, and hope he can have a clear mind to leave his so called friend immediately! These people are way too scary not sure what they have in their mind and planning to do on this brother in law. If they are rich i could not understand why they want to do this to make others family in a chaos. Hope that god have eyes 老天有眼 can punish these people who have bad heart and thinking.  

Review on branded bag cleaning service - bag spa

My 6 - 7 years old lv speedy is really very dirty and one day (few months back) my cupboard door was stuck thus i force open it and to my surprised my speedy handle was injured!! Super heart pain!

I quickly search on the net to check which shop offers cleaning service for this bag as i have a few wedding to attend in the following month and found a few shops providing this service but in the end i choose :  bag spa

The location of bag spa is at international plaza which is just beside tanjong pagar mrt station. 

I was worried that my bag will get worst after cleaning as i saw a few post online about the shop damaging their branded bag but after considering i think i should give it a try as my bag is already in the worst condition!

Ok dun expect 100% as good as new but i think they have done a great job! Abit dirt cannot be clean off but is already 95% good! I think if i sell it can get fetch a good price! 

Im super greatful to bag spa the service given was great too!! Friendly aunties!! 

And they are so kind to give dust bag and recycle bag for your cleaned bag!! 

Oh forgot to mentioned the cost!! Mine was quite serious so i was charged $90 but is all worth it!! 

Those with dirty branded bag can head to bag spa they will be able to save your bag!! 

Champion hotel (singapore)

Recently i went for a short stay at champion hotel singapore, its actually a boutique hotel the location is near to joo chiat complex (nearest mrt station is at paya lebar).

Overall the room is new and clean, spaces as well. I quite like it. But is a pity that there isn't any swimming pool or cafe in the hotel. No breakfast too. If you wan to head over the the nearest shopping centre it will be I12 which is about 20mins walk or a 5-10mins car ride if you take a cab/taxi over but the return way is slightly longer as the road is one way road thus need to turn a big round when travel back. And a side note: getting a cab/taxi in peak hour or weekends around the area is not easy. 

I would rate it for 7/10

Basically is a budget yet clean hotel with not much facilities.

By the way the cab/taxi driver will not know the hotel location so just tell him is near to joo chiat complex, and you might miss the hotel as the sign of it is not big and noticable. So you might just stop at the taxi stand near the joo chiat complex and cross over the road and walk slightly down (1min) tada you are there.

Taiwan 2014 (nice food)

It had been sometimes since my last post. As i was very busy with work and seldom gave time to blog lately. By the way i went taiwan again in july and discover 2 great dinning place thus wanna share!!

1st is a place which is suitable for family or doing some celebration! 

This restaurant not only had theme sitting they also have a play room for kids (play room operate till like 8pm)

We choosen set meals so we can choose soup, main dish, drinks, we were given salad and starter and if i remember correctly dessert too. The right hand side 1st and 2nd photos is their kids meal. 

The food were nice but the waiting time for it was very long. Overall a relaxing place. They also very sweet to provide a cake or a free meal for the birthday person but must state during reservation and bring along your id / passport for verification. 

This is the cake taste okie too. 

The second place i wanna recommend is a ma la steamboat buffet place.. 

This place we found randomly. And its located at xi men ding. The buffet is nice and alot of food selection! 

And the soup base is super shiok!! But if they recommend you the chicken pot please dun choose it as it is so so only we regretted of taking it!! The meat serve is like suki ya they serve when you ordered! So is fresher too!! Tumbs up for it a good place to enjoy the steamboat ma la!!
