1st JB trip!

I have never been to JB just to shop before. But after seeing my brother going in a few occasion and told mi is easy and cheap so i decided to take a try!

Well linlyn did mentioned before that going JB she taken an express bus from yishun before. Thus i just wonder is there any bus that i can take direct from the east to JB? I did a check and found out that bus TS1 leaves Changi Airport and head towards JB! In between there is a few stops but it didnt make the trip a long one. 

I didnt really time as my girl is vomitting on the bus (she always have this problem taking cab no matter long or short or long bus trip) but i suppose is about 1hrs 30 to 40mins the total duration we are in the bus.

We didnt took the bus on top as that was the next trip bus, and this was the current trip bus. Btw they have different appearance the one we took back looks different too!! Lol

When we reach City Square we are hungry and went to i-canton and had our lunch!

After which we went over to ksl and saw this cute cupcake and bought 2 for my girl the elmo and hello kitty.

We also went over to the kids play area in city square and is really very cheap compare to our singkids. But nothing much just the children cars that is more interesting. 

Ps: my girl really powerful always ask mi to push her and my waist feel like cracking lol!! Thus is not a idea place to stay for long!

My favorite indian style rojak! (Al mahboob rojak)

Was craving for indian style rojak and in my list the best is at tampines s11 foodcourt. But then i went back ones and to my horror the food court closed down. Plus i think my big eyes got stamp didnt realize they are still around!

I try to google and find out that the rojak stall actually is at the same location just that from a stall it had become a shop! Well done!! You can also find them on fb!! Hahah!!

Just for your info, the waiting time is real long so be prepare to wait for the yummy rojak! I waited 22 person before its my turn! (Yawns) 

But the sides came 1st! (To us the rojak is our main food! Hahah) It taste great too!!

Actually when we were there after office hour the rojak selection left was quite little. So the potatoes no longer available :( oh ya and it cost $20 for the all the food you see in this post. Drinks are sold and charge separately. Whereas the food are charge ones everything is ready. 

Overall i will rate them 8/10 super love their fresh and nice rojak! To avoid disappointment go there early!! And be prepare the waiting time might be long for peak hours! 

Gelare waffle ice cream

I had my 1st ice cream waffle @ Gelare and i was totally shock with its great taste!! To be honest i hate strawberry but i could not resist to order it with my waffle as that is the best combination i feel! 

Linlyn was the one recommended me with this waffle and after a try, i had fell in love with this killer dessert!! 

I suggest for small eater to take a whole waffle with 1 scoop ice cream and that will be enough to fill you up for lunch! 

The fluffiness and crispy skin of the waffle is a perfect match with strawberry ice cream which was neither over milky nor too sweet!! As for linlyn she choosen the chocolate yoghurt ice cream! (Forgot to take photo as i have been too engross in eating mine!)

By the way linlyn also gave me a tips order and flash you watson card (if you are watson member) and for the full waffle you order you get a free scoop of ice cream total you only have to pay $8.80 for this yummy devil!! 

It comes with whip cream but i didnt have it as its too sinful!! 

Groupon rws $88 3 course meal

Went to universal studio for anniversary celebration, and saw this groupon voucher for dinner at singapore seafood republic. I think is sounds like a good deals as its only $88 which includes fish, prawn, crab and steam rice. 

As i was too hungry i only remember to take the photo for the prawn. 

Its actually a big bowl of herbal prawns, around 9 big ones (est). Its veri fresh and nice! 

The fish was also not bad and we choosen the fried ones which come with sauce.

Next the black pepper crab! Ok there is 2 choices the chilli or black pepper and i took the latter. Its around 800g for that crab. Its was also fresh!

Dar was the kind which like to order alot of dish and he wanted to add on bamboo clam, but then it was not available. Thus we change to baby kailan with garlic.

Im feel regret agreeing to order addition dish as the 3 courses is already enough for us as an hour ago we had some snacks at the uss! 

We also order soft drinks thus the bill which we need to top up is around $28. 

To me i feel that is cheap paying the total amount as if normally it will cost at least 30% more if we didnt purchase the voucher. 

Overall is a good purchase.

Festive hotel (resort world sentosa)

Had our short stay at rws last week. And i booked the festive hotel which is more  family oriented. It was surprising good and wonderful hotel! The rooms was well renovate and equipped! Except for the lobby which was still under some renovation. Other then that it was a cool place! 

Look at this bunk bed! I love it and cant control and climb up to try bouncing on it! It really amazing to have this kind of bed in the hotel room! But is not suitable for young children as it is quite high up! The cupboard is just below this bed and it consist of bathrobe (2 adults) and slippers (2adults and 1 child)! And iron and iron board was in it.

Everything was great but the room lighting was not bright enough. And the breakfast at the hotel was very pack till we need to queue for quite sometime. Overall it was a great experience there!

Ting yuan steamboat 廷园

Have a crave of steamboat and decided to have it for dinner. I told lynlin and she recommended the following steamboat.

Finally ease my crave at this liang street ting yuan 廷园.

De stress body massage @ one beauty spa

After my jamu at one beauty spa i also took up the trial body massage at $38! 

As doing it alone is quite boring so i treated my sister too!

I wasn't being able to provide the couple room picture as our bag was place at the locker including our phones. 

Anyway is a decent room. The massage lady for me was the same to the one i had during my last visit for my jamu. My sister was massage by a Malaysian massage lady. 

It was relaxing and we also being entitle to a back scrub. 

But the massage lady for my sister seems to be a little too chatty! Hahha..

Overall is comfortable as on and off they did check on how we feel, is the strength ok etc. 

Jamu massage at one beauty spa

Had mentioned earlier that im doing another jamu massage with one beauty spa with the groupon voucher. Here's some information and updates! 

I actually booked an appointment last few weeks and was sick, one day before the appointment. Fever and lost of voice with bad flu! Totally unable to go for my appointment and thus cancel it. To my horror i need to pay $12 cancelation fee for any cancelation less than 2 days in advance no exceptional! Was really upset that just becoz its groupon voucher cancelation have to paid! 

Anyway i change my appointment to the following week. Went over and the consultant karen i suppose ask me to fill up the registration form with all my details. After which she intro me my session what it is for and how it works. 20mins massage and a 30 mins jamu herb wrap with hot blanket. She ask mi what is my concern and i told her is my bloated tummy. She say that she will recommend me to use the ginger oil and ginger cream in order for me to have a better result. Of course its chargeable! The original price was abt $80 for a single product of the 2 mentioned (forgot the actual price she mentioned but is roughly there). But now they having promotion for groupon user and it will be abt $80 for both. In the end i didn't take that as i was already upset for paying $12 for nothing!! Lol!! Karen was friendly and not forceful thus she told me its alright after a few attempts of introducing the ginger additional charges. Oh forgotten to mention that actually my periods came on that day of my appointment and i called and ask if im able to proceed with the treatment and they told my is fine unless im having heavy periods. But it was the 1st day so i just went ahead with her assurance that its alright. 

Okie now begins my experience with them: 

I was brought to a locker area in front of my treatment room to place my things in there and the key i can keep with me. So i proceed to the room and prepare for the treatment. The room is cozy, and my massage was done by marlyn. she told me that she will be opening the point and then start massage. She was not using alot of force she mention to me, as i was having my periods. Whole process was quite okie and she use those normal massage oil unlike beyounce beauty, but when she do the wrap she apply jamu herbs and cover my tummy with a hot blanket also quite different with beyounce. After that i was ask to rest for 30mins, she was quite concern about the heat of the hot blanket and check on me after 15mins. Soon times up and i have completed the whole treatment. 

Overall i feel comfortable with one beauty spa after this experience compare to beyond (for time being as i still got 2 more treatment to go.) I feel that the consultant here is much better and friendly than beyond. But the product use in beyond i feel is better. Oh i didnt update my last treatment will beyond was not a satisfied one as the massage lady spill the ginger herb oil and uses normal massage oil on me. Super upset about this as the lady should replace the ginger oil and not to anyhow use other to replace as the outcome will be different. 

I ended up took one beauty spa back massage and scrub treatment trial for $38 with them. Will update on that after my experience.

Cookies for my darling!

Was having a bad week previously! Many unhappy things happened but now its all over thus have mood to bake cookies for my darling!!

We have this hitachi microwave oven and this machine can actually do many cooking! But till now i only tried baking yesterday! The instruction menu consist of some recipes and so i decided to try out on the cookies recipes.

I spent a few hours getting the tools needed, and soon started my experiment hahaha! As it didnt stated the baking should use what degree thus i can only presume that the preheated temp is also the baking temp. End up it was still not burnt enough at the side and i increase the degree and time. It was a little success, just that is slightly hard maybe i bake a little too long. But still taste good.

Dmk blinks heels!

This time round, would like to intro my new blinks heels! Previously bought the one on the left and wear till it totally worn out but still, i never give up and bought the same model to replace it and now the 2nd pair of the square diamond heels is going to say good bye to me plus the model has been discontinued i have to search for new heels to work. Went over dmk and saw the heels on the right and feel that its quite comfortable plus with blinks so i bought it to replace square diamond number 2.

Okie now a tips for blinks shoes! Previously i bought this pazzion diamond stud sandals and guess what the diamond drop of twice!! Within 2weeks after i bought it. Was pissed off and check with the sales is there anyways to prevent the diamond from dropping and was told that we can actually use nail polish in transparent or top coats to apply on the diamond stuf. This will helps to prevent the diamonds from dropping! So i bought opi top coats which is on the 2 nd pictures and is pretty good!

2nd visit at beyond beauty jamu tummy massage

As i was quite busy thus has been postponing my visit past few weeks.

Anyway i went for my 2nd massage out of 3. This time round was service by a china lady her name is cindy. She was quite okie in explaining to me that my tummy got wind. And actually need to do a few more times to remove the wind. Massage compare to the 1st time is less painful i think the malay auntie uses more strength. After that she told me that they having 9th anniversary later will get the consultant to tell me more.

After the whole session, the consultant i didnt take down her name. She was a bit dark and face got quite obvious pimples and mark she sounds like a malaysian. She then told me that the auntie told her that i need more massage. Thus she wan to intro me the full body jamu. I told her that my concern is only tummy then 1st she came out with a package of $488 for 6 tummy massage 30mins. What in my mind was eh i bought the groupon just $48 for 3 session and you dare to offer such a high price and without the mask. So i told her huh u mean $488 for 6, then she said that actually full body is more worth. End up she say i know you have a budget so y not i offer u $144 for 3 session. To me i was like huh $48 for per time is also expensive just for 30 min tummy. Then i told her that i do those who come to our house kind i only pay $50 for full body and also with wrap! Then she told me coz they do alone and earn alone in beyond beauty they have many staff they cant let us pay what we pay for groupon all the time if not they will close down. I was like -.-' who cares are you going to close down? If you can offer in groupon then it make no sense you cant extend ur promo to your customers. If you can earn abit then y u wan to push customers away by increasing the price till way to far from what you have offer. If you are offering $38 per session with wrap then i will definitely continued with new package. I think the way they do business is weird rather do not earn then to earn abit.

Okie lastly i rejected the package and get another groupon from another spa! Haha. This time round is $65 for 3 session. With one beauty spa will blog after i have try most likely in may coz i still have 1 more session with beyond beauty.

Grandma bday with udon cake!

Yesterday we went to jing long restaruant to celebrate my grandma bday!!

About a week ago my mum ask me to order cake that is cute. As previously (few years back) i order a xiao long bao cake for grandma and it was highly rave by all the relatives. Thus this year we tried the udon cake!

Baby g watch bought

As per mentioned in my previous post im actually considering to buy the baby g watch in rose copper but found out that all the shops that i went does not carry it anymore :( (think it has been discontinued)

Anyway i bought one from another series! The centre is in gold! I was swinging between the white or the black! In the end the black got no more new piece thus i ended up buying the white one!

Recently i have been thinking should i get one baby g watch! As from the ad snsd wear them and it looks so cool! But 1 problem with me is that i can only read the digital watch! The numerical one i cant read them!! Always get mix up with the timing and get scolding in arranging the wrong time!

The watch below is the best looking baby g digital i can find. Still considering should i get it! The copper one looks nice!

I fell into this brand products just last year. As the place i went facial uses them thus from there i know that im suitable using them.

I have bought the moisturizer, sunblock and hydrating mask previously. Currently my moisturizer is running low thus order another tube and also the toner as well!

Really love this brand!!

By the way i have combine skin and i uses the active series and they are acting good!

Bday 2013 @ aranda

Was having our (me and hubby same bday but diff year) bday celebration with family at aranda!

Was quite disappointed with the rooms and facilities although is not that cheap $863.40 (including a refundable deposit of $200 upon check out) but the room facilities was really make me feel dun worth it!

First thing upon check in u have to check the list of items available in the rooms if u never check and something gone missing or spoilt, it will be under ur account meaning you have to pay! (Prices are all stated clearly.) Okie the saddest part for me was they didnt even have a hair dryer!!! I went to watson at down town east and trying to get 1 but to my surprise they do not sell it!! -.-' end up have to get my mum to go back and get 1 from home! Even downtown east chalet have it y this Aranda which is way more expensive does not look into all this??

Another thing i wan to comment is the rooms are full of traps!!! The door nod on 1 of the toilet was build at the end of the door it hurts our hands so many times!! And the cupboard is build all the way to the floor thus our feet also get hurts whenever we close or open the door!!

We did had our bbq but we get everything from the ntuc at downtown east except some food like prawns, meat, fish, lala my dad brought from market and brought over.

We also had our ktv although most of us was having sore throat and feeling unwell!! Hahaha (ktv lovers!)

We also went to the clubhouse swimming pool $8.50 per pax even we have free 1time entries to downtown east swimming pool. The reason y is i dun wan to walk so far with a wet baby later after the swim and also the clubhouse swimming also have sauna!

Lastly we ended our bday with a cake cutting session of emi durian cake!!
